We are a highly experienced partnership of professionals from Construction, Recruitment, Technology, Training and Finance.​  We were brought together by the Founder of The RIFT Group, a family business specialising in Tax Refunds, established 25 years ago. We understand the problems inherent in complex supply chains and the labour market of the  Construction Industry.  We therefore hope that JobMatcha® can play a small part in disrupting the worst elements of the legacy supply chain, helping to provide compliance and oversight to employers, whilst creating value and opportunity for workers. WHAT WE ARE BUILDING

JobMatcha® is a digital-first company, set up with a trio of aims – to Empower the Worker, Protect the Employer and to Deliver Social Benefit in our communities. We combine construction and recruitment industry expertise with cutting edge tech. Our platform, for which we own the IP, is a simple yet powerful collaboration portal that connects local construction workers to local opportunities, whilst helping employers meet their compliance and social value obligations.

Candidates use a free app to create a secure, “digital wallet” in the cloud, where they store their credentials and identity documents. Prospective employers load their vacant roles into JobMatcha®, knowing that candidates on the platform have proved their identity and hold credentials for the various competencies that they claim to have. Our algorithms match local workers to roles, reducing carbon footprint and creating efficiency in the supply chain.

OUR PRINCIPLES

What we do

  • We will ensure that the worker owns their own profile.

  • Pay rates will be completely transparent, and there will be no hidden charges.​

  • The worker engages with the client directly through the App, and it negates the need for a ‘middle-man’ or agency.​

  • By doing so, we will ensure that the worker is paid more.

What we do

  • The client can utilise the portal to engage with workers from the local area.

  • The App has links to training and skills providers and access to wellbeing resources.

  • We can report on vital Section 106 and TOMs data such as – worker locality, worker diversity and worker carbon footprint.​

  • We will bring apprentices, veterans, the long-term unemployed and ex-offenders onto the platform.​

What we do

  • The App uses unique, intelligent technology to check and verify right to work. ​

  • We use at least 27 different checks to cross reference forms of Identification and qualification.​

  • The App also has a direct API link to CSCS ensuring the worker has the right qualifications and skills for the task they have been assigned.​

  • We will identify when qualifications expire – ensuring operatives are not on site and that we signpost them to renewing their skills.

  • It allows the client to have confidence that they can utilise one solution for all their contingent labour requirements.

  • From sourcing to verification, rates and payment. To training, development and performance.​
